At Salesforce from 2011 to 2023, I moved from solution engineering to Director, Solutions in Q Branch ANZ. In that role, I brought engineers, designers, creative strategists and media professionals together to make complex technology real for customers.
Since leaving Salesforce in 2023, I've built Valid Agenda as the home for my consulting, AI experimentation and product development. Along the way, I've shipped software, hosted practical AI conversations and helped others learn to build with these tools.

Start with the people doing the job. What are they trying to get done, who relies on the result, and what does good look like? I want to see the real workflow, not just a process diagram or a list of tools.
Look for the handovers, repeated effort and decisions that keep getting stuck. Talk to the people working around them. Sometimes the answer is AI. Sometimes it is a clearer brief, a simpler process or giving someone the authority to act.
Agree what needs to improve before building anything: less time chasing information, fewer mistakes, a faster decision. Weigh that against the cost of changing and running it. Start small, check the result and only expand what proves useful.
