About the Show
AI Operators started as a conversation between Dave Pengelley, Matt Slager, and Marno Brits - three blokes who'd spent thousands of hours building with AI and wanted to compare notes. Richard Webbe joined to add 40 years of tech industry pattern recognition. Every episode is a live, unscripted session where we pull apart how AI actually behaves inside businesses - not how the pitch decks say it should.
We dig into: why long chat threads make your AI dumber (context rot), the paradox where AI tools speed you up but never give you time back (the chainsaw paradox), designing systems for agents instead of humans, data sovereignty and owning your competitive advantage, multi-agent orchestration, regional AI adoption gaps, and what "expert in the loop" really means when you're the one signing off on the output.
